My Artwork

Emerald and gold butterfly
I made this with oil paints. I gifted it to the owner of Emerald Empire for welcoming me to his beautiful tattoo shop where I am now currently tattooing out of.

Toucan
Oil paints

My Golden Eggs
From the story of the Goose that laid Golden eggs for the farmer and his wife, I did this symbolic painting to represent my tattoo and art skills and my determination to protect it from abuse. I'm currently rehabilitating physical ailments that resulted from over use. Slowly but surely I am getting back to tip top shape and really enjoying what I do again!

Just some pretty colors
This oil on canvas was me practicing and experimenting with oil techniques as I was just learning how to use colors and oil paints.

My first watercolor painting.
Raven and poppy flowers.

Life-size-ish Flamingo
The reference photo was taken from Audubon's 'Birds of America'. But I first saw it's original in the Natural History Museum in London, England. I was immediately in love with it and determined to have one on my wall, so I painted one. Acryllic on canvas.

Smoke
Just playing around with different media and techniques here. I used white charcoal on black watercolor paper.

The Raven
My favorite bird! I did this with acrylic white paint. 10 minute painting.

Tragedy of the Great Auk
Another one taken from Auduban's 'Birds of America'. Sadly the Great Auk, close relatives of penguins, went extinct in the 1800's due to over hunting. I saw it's skeleton in the Natural History museum as well, in the Special Collections gallery.

Is it fire or is it a sunset?
Another quick and fun watercolor painting.

Cardinal in the winter
I love doing these quick 20 minute watercolor bird paintings. It is therapeutic to my ADHD brain!

Johnny Depp
I drew this a really long time ago. I used charcoal, which was then my favorite choice of medium. This particular drawing was a turning point in my art career as I had learned how to make realistic hair.

Reese Witherspoon
Another charcoal drawing.

Moon
I took the photo of the moon with my PowerShot camera and drew it with white charcoal and pastels.

Tapia
Two commissioned drawings I did for a fellow BJJ practitioner.
